AvtoVAZ launches Lada X-Cross production on ex-Nissan plant

ST. PETERSBURG, Jun 19 (PRIME) -- AvtoVAZ launched production of the Lada X-Cross 5 model on the former plant of Nissan in St. Petersburg on June 17.

The sales were to start in July–September, and the average price was set at up to 2.5 million rubles.

"The price is reasonable -- we have not informed the dealers so far, we will do it later, about a month prior to the start of the program at the end of summer of this year.”

“The price will stand at up to 2.5 million rubles on average depending on configuration."

Minister Denis Manturov said that AvtoVAZ will produce over 100,000 Lada cars per year by 2027.
